I live in Michigan as well. From the beginning I have not allowed that woman (Whitmer) to tell me what me and my family can and cannot do. If rules do not make sense to me, I will not follow them. We definitely need new leadership in this state, though.

Through all of this I have realized that I will not put faith in politicians, and we never truly know who these people really are. We only see either what we want to see or what they want us to perceive them to be. Not much would surprise me about any of them at this point.

Interesting. I live in Kalamazoo, MI, and my kids attend a private school, but I know of at least one other private school in our city where the same reactions occured after the vaccine.

Never liked the idea of easter bunnies and egg hunts. Never made sense to me to, even as a child. What could that possibly have to do with Jesus' resurrection?

Our whole school shut down after the teachers all had the vaccine b/c more than half were very sick. My best friend's husband also was unable to form words the day after getting it. I have a hard time believing a placebo would cause these reactions. I am simply baffled why so many are lining up to get it.

I have been contemplating this as well. I feel like so many aspects of COVID has brought to light people's faith or lack of it. It surely has been tough to watch so many who I thought were strong living in such fear.

I made it until July of 2020 when the mask mandate started in Michigan and grocery stores began enforcing it. The store was the only place I wore it, and I stopped wearing one again there about a month ago. I hate them!!!
