Our dear parents have been abused longer than we have. I keep thinking if my dad were still here he would have figured all this out and gotten my mom off the Fox News train. So I tried. Many times. But I am not my dad.

When does it stop? I guess when we say it does. What can you control in this whacked world? What one thing can you do this very minute to improve a situation?

Frustrating, isn’t it, Martin? My brother-in-law passed 6 days ago. The first dose of chemo (for bladder cancer) destroyed his kidneys so he did dialysis for 5 years, which I understand was brutal, 3x per week. Dialysis stopped working. Such a gentle, courageous man. My heart goes to you and your young friend.

I can’t either. Very sorry for your hurt, VK. I hope a day comes where we are ready again for the unconditional love.
