Mid 90s working at Saturn Corp I took a 'puter maint class off site. Instructor - a 'puter Subject Matter Expert that had worked for "an agency of the Fed Gov." Said he'd flown foreign hard drives in "piggybacked" only one transponder active F-16s into the US. He'd later peel off to Langley. Said it had to be the original drives so they could read 3 levels deep using magnetic hysteresis. Anyway, we had lunch a couple times. JFK came up. I related info in the book "Double Cross" to him re: a mob/C_A two sides of the same coin hit. He stopped eating as I talked. When done he said, "If you throw all that in a bag & add in where it happened & how badly LBJ wanted to be president, shake it all up and pour it out, you'll be pretty close..."

Also of interest - FLW's only skyscraper - Price Tower in Bartlesville, OK is a really nice tour as well. John Rowden's wife Wilma (Sue) organized a Valentine's Day dinner & tour there for our church group. John was the Master Chief on the U.S.S. Okinawa the day they recovered the Apollo 15 capsule where only 2 of the 3 chutes opened fully. He shared some really interesting memorabilia with me. Shortly after he passed, Sue was killed in a car crash on 3/12/2019. I think of them whenever I think of Price Tower but it is a tour well worth taking. Truly a snapshot out of history!

Just one of many projects: Wrote & implemented a machine control program in the late 90's to route Saturn Corp. monorail transmission carriers from a serial incoming line to 3 parallel test stands after the 3rd stand was added. Multiple carriers in each stand's lane. Made it dynamic no matter the lane counts, trans rejected or special needs/circumstances to decrease stand empty/wait times. Used Boolean algebra to simplify the logic. Cost savings win.
Also created a bond with my rescue wolf. Shown here standing guard while I worked in the shed. 🤗🐺😎

And all it took was busing a bunch of them to D.C. - NIMBY! (Not In My Back Yard!)...🤣🤣🤣
