i sat down in the barbers chair this morning pissed that the price is up 50% in the past few months.

by the time i got up to pay, i changed my mindset and realized i should be thankful for what i have and do something kind for someone else.

i tipped her 100%. no, she’s never cut my hair before. no, i dont know her. but she was kind, dilligent, happy, and most importantly, human. she deserved it.

this isn’t to inflate my ego or paint myself as a saint. its a reminder to myself, and hopefully someone else will learn from it, that when all you want to do is bitch and moan, you have the power to change your perspective and help someone else.
