GOD'S PROTECTION

Where do you need to find strength in the Lord today? Ask God to show you where He is in your current situation.

A PRAYER FOR A SERVANT'S HEART

God, You are my great provider, and You provide me with opportunities to give generously. Please give me the courage to trust You with every opportunity to live a generous life. I want to wisely manage the money, time, and energy You've given me, so please help me to steward them well. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

PRAYER

Father God, thank You for caring abut every detail of my life. Forgive me for spending so much mental energy worrying about circumstances I can't control. I give each pressing situation to You. Please work in miraculous way. Thank You that I can trade my anxieties for Your peace. In Jesus' Name, I Pray. Amen.

BRINGING MY REQUESTS TO GOD

Father God, here I am. You know the hopes and dreams I have for the future. You know the problems I am currently facing, and the struggles I've already overcome. You are with me, and You are for me. Please align my will with Yours as I bring my requests to You today. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

CONCERNS

HONOR GOD

God, who am I that You are mindful of me? You are above all things, and by You all things are held together. You are holy. And even though I often feel unworthy, You carefully created me. You set me apart before I was even born. You are worthy to be praised! So in whatever I do, let me do it for Your glory. Amen.

A PRAYER FOR ENDURANCE

God, You call me to faithful and obedient living. Thank You for providing Your Word as a guide that helps me bring You glory. LEARNING TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

When we became Christians and first believed in Jesus, we began a journey of faith. We committed to becoming a disciple of Jesus, who follows His commands, and trusts in Him.

The apostle Paul, in his instructions to Timothy, encourages Timothy to fight the good fight of faith. This implies that the journey of faith will often be difficult. It will sometimes be messy, hard, and harrowing. Paul's words serve as a reminder that, sometimes, faith looks like a fight.

However, rather than a fight against people, this journey of faith is a fight for goodness, beauty, and faithfulness. We are fighting against our own broken natures, but also against God's enemies within the spiritual realm.

Peaceful and loving Father, I adore You. I am humbled to call myself your servant, the greatest honor I can conceptualize. Lord, I pray for Your forgiveness. I have sinned and I live amongst sinners, but I hope that You can help grant peace upon my fellow men, and show mercy towards Your followers. May Your body of peace reign once again Lord, our strength and our redeemer. Amen.

So much of the world seems so divided in modern times: South Korea and North Korea, the Middle East, even the United States of America seem to have two opposing sides. We divide ourselves more and more based on arbitrary boundaries, skin color, religion, language, and economic status. We seem to have quickly forgotten the mistakes of the past, even the mistakes written about in the Old Testament. Did Christ die for nothing?

CHRIST IS ALL, AND IN ALL

In contrast to much of the Old Testament, the Christian ideals have progressed to be more open and welcoming because of Jesus' life.

“Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.”
“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;”

Dear Lord, we so not want to appear hypocritical as we witness in Your name. Please strengthen our faith and guide us to maturity as we continue our walk with You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning Inspiration-Saturday, July 27th, 2024

During Jesus' time, tombs were caves or rock piles scattered across the countryside. They were beautifully painted or washed with lime to appear white and clean. The tombs were lovely on the outside, but we know what rested within. Jesus calls the Israel leaders hypocrites, stating they go above and beyond to appear flawless on the outside when darkness lived inside their hearts. They were not genuine in their worship and teachings to people. We do not want to be hypocritical when witnessing for the Lord. We will continue to seek instruction as we mature in our faith and rid our hearts of sin.

Dear Lord, please help us give unconditional love to our children when they stumble, just as you have given us time and time again. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Night Inspiration-Friday, July 26th, 2024

It's difficult to be a Christian parent in the world today. There are multiple temptations for our children when they use the internet, turn on the television, view social media, or see casual advertisements at the store. Sins are downplayed and overtime our little ones may become desensitized to the danger scripture warns us to avoid. God shows us how to intervene when our children stumble. We must forgive, shower them with unconditional love and clothe them with spiritual protection.
