Yep, I was shown the door. They refuse to budge on being a "welcoming" site for those poor alphabet people who don't feel welcome anywhere else. They should call their site "Gay Fitness" so us normal people can beware and stay away.

But I feel strangely liberated. I've been working out with their app for a year and a half, and right now, I feel free to develop my own fitness program. And it actually feels good. Now I just need to find a way to be accountable to myself.

I'm with you. This war seems endless, and we're not being given many reasons to hope that things are changing. We need "something" to hold onto, so we can believe things will get better. I feel perpetually weary anymore.

Wow, that's very cool! I have one I got at a yard sale, but to be honest, I still haven't used it. I knead all my bread by hand, and keep forgetting I even have it.

It can be operated two ways - manually (in case of disaster and no electricity) or with an optional electric powered motor. It's slow to grind - figure about five minutes per cup of grain - but it's super cool!

Fellow dork here. I got a grinder to make my own whole grain bread and was doing the happy dance.

We've scheduled surgery for our 16 year old dog to have her eye removed, since it's disintegrating. She might not survive the surgery, but we have peace that we're making the right decision. She has such a strong will to live.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We've had to say goodbye to several furkids over the years, and it never gets easier. I'm glad you had peace with your decision.

I wish that was the question I needed to answer, but it's so much harder. She has glaucoma that is destroying her eye, plus she has a tumor in her kidney that is working to shut down her internal organs. The easy fix on a normal dog would be to just remove the eye, but with her tumor, it's so much more risky - plus there is the age factor since she's 14. She's still got so much energy and life in her, and we would love to do the surgery because we might have her around for a few more years. But - she might not survive it.

There are a lot of drugs being pushed hard, not just Ozempic. I've heard it's because the pharma companies are paying for air time (commercials), so the networks' news media don't report the repercussions of taking the drugs.
