I went to the pain clinic yesterday for my follow up. Once they get preauthorization from my insurance company, I will be scheduled for the first procedure to burn the nerves in my neck. This one has to be done in two parts, they can only do one side at a time. Once both these procedures are done, injections will start on my low back for that bulging disk. I hope once that is done I will get relief from the sciatica. I appreciate all your prayers, please keep them coming.

Help me hold unswervingly to the hope I profess, trusting that You are faithful. Sometimes--especially when many things are going wrong--all I can do is hold on to You. I would love to be able to sort things out in my mind and find the way forward, but often this is impossible. At such times, what I really need to do is seek Your Face and profess my hope.

To profess hope is to affirm it openly. My words matter--not only to other people but also to me. Speaking negatively discourages me as well as the people around me. But when my words affirm my hope and trust in You, I gain confidence that You will show me the way to proceed.

My friend, Ruby, needs lots of prayers. She was unresponsive night before last, and it took 2 hours to bring her back. I pray she can hang on until the med beds are available. Please help me pray.
My other friend, Gloria, keeps losing hemoglobin and the Dr isn't sure what is causing it, plus she has been having issues with Afib. I certainly hope it isn't some type of blood cancer. She also needs lots of prayers.
These are my two closest friends. If I lose them, I will be totally alone here. I shudder at the thought. Please pray God gives me the strength I need as well.
