An excerpt from our local paper. Awakening!

Yesterday I blasted yet another company shoving their "pride" message at me. It was a fitness coaching site, and I'm probably going to be booted from their app. But unlike in prior years, this year I feel really hollow about it. I'm so battle weary already. I'm so tired of fighting. I just want it to all go away.

I've recently discovered a love of milling my own grain and eating bread made with organic wheat berries. If you haven't tried this yet, it's well worth the effort. But I just found out that milling it immediately before baking is super important. We can't "cheat" by buying the already ground flour.

A young lady who works at the local restaurant has an Adam's apple. She's not trans, as far as I can tell - she appears to be a totally normal girl. So I did some research, and apparently women CAN have Adam's apples.

An update on our little pooch - she's 16 and had a very badly infected eye. We didn't know if we should attempt surgery to remove it, since she also has heart issues and a tumor on her kidneys, but the vet said we could try. She had her surgery today and made it through like a little trooper. A huge thank you to all who were praying for her! 💕

My account is pretty much invisible here, but if anyone actually sees this, would you say a prayer for me and my husband and our vet to make the right decisions regarding our very sick old dog? We have an appointment tonight and I'm afraid it might be the end of the line for her.

Brazilian priest Juan Pablo takes abandoned dogs off the streets, and feeds and bathes them. Then he introduces a dog to each Mass and to find each one a home. Dozens of stray dogs have families because of this man. ❤️

We hope this idea catches on.
