Actually, after reading the article, it looks like some great changes from the new Superintendent (who used to be in charge of AF Special Operations Command). He is making the Academy stricter and moving back to the high standards it was known for. The cadets still had chicken and fish, and the full restrictions to base has been lifted as of today.

The people we talked with at the airport either shrugged, actually laughed, had no explanations except perhaps that was taken care of by Canada ?? ummmm.... This would be our U.S. country now relying on a different country for our national security?? Obviously people are being let in in so many different ways, but this was beyond eye-popping, and I can find no "legal" documents that have any changes made to airline entry to the U.S. for U.S. citizens, mind you, that is what WE are. The whole planeload of passengers came off the ramp into the direct airport free to go wherever they chose from there.

Apparently, anyone could come in with an ID check and bring whatever the heck they wanted with them - no bag checks, no questions??? WTH?? And the only check while still in Canada was done by the Airline staff. (It did seem fairly thorough, but still??)

I can't imagine owning any of this property! Sage would not be enough to rid the evil vibes from all the horrors done there!

They had similar problems with a one day strike - which they resolved temporarily... now, I guess the Union isn't satisfied with the response.

I will say - the land we are now on does have some seriously mystical and some would say mythical elements to it (I won't get into it, because we feel like we are caretakers here and don't want negative attention) so this is just one of the interesting experiences we have had.

Then my husband came out from the bedroom and asked if I had seen the raven today because he heard huge wing noises ... Just saying there is a definite synchronicity going on here!!

We have been having a huge (even by Raven standards) raven visiting our back patio almost every day for well over a month now. Started when I was out of town visiting my cancer-ridden sister for the last time. :( My husband saw it first.

Since I returned one or both of us see it generally between 9-11 AM. Sometimes our dog will see and chase it off, other times it just leaves after a short "visit." We have no idea what it means, or why it keeps coming. Beautiful bird. I have looked into various beliefs and legends, but still don't have a clue what it is trying to tell us. (Husband heritage is mostly Germanic, mine is mostly Irish and Scotch/English.) We live somewhat rurally now.

This is where it is good to use discernment and also to pray and look to God. Critical thinking means questioning everything and looking at all the possibilities. A great way to discredit a group or movement is to highlight or even "create" an "absurd" fringe and then attach that by a name or action to the bigger group so that anything said then becomes written off as unbelievable. Works both ways, of course, and we've seen it used through out history - sometimes extremely effectively

And those who come from both sides (former military - now keyboard) have their own unique view that makes it imperative to BE here, yet find dealing with all they have seen or suspect to be their own trauma. I think the number of former military who "get it" in whatever way speaks to the fact that it is hard not to start questioning once you run up against something that doesn't compute. That sends you down the rabbit hole. That leads you into the spiritual and physical REAL war.

Then again, every one of us comes from some form of life "traumas" that have made us who we are. Martin - you have such a gift with words and use this gift well!
