Make prayer an ongoing part of your day.

As important as prayer is to your Christian life, you might expect Paul to list it as another piece of spiritual armor, but he doesn't. Instead, he makes it all-pervasive by instructing us to pray at all times. That's our spiritual lifeline—the air our spirits breathe. The effectiveness of each piece of armor is directly related to the quality of our prayers.

We see the importance of prayer throughout the New Testament. Jesus instructed His disciples to be on the alert at all times, praying so that they would have strength to face the trials and temptations that lie ahead (Luke 21:36). The apostles devoted themselves to prayer (Acts 6:4), as did godly people like Cornelius (Acts 10:2). Every Christian is to be continually devoted to prayer (Rom. 12:12).

In Philippians 4:6 Paul says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything

In my nursing education a l-o-n-g time ago 😂 I was taught exactly that. Symptoms are the result of the working of our amazing immune system. Most remedies to comfort those who were "sick" with these symptoms, were simple home remedies and comfort measures. For example honey and lemon for a cough, herbal teas, cool compresses for fever, deep breathing for congestion, sunshine ( solariums were available in hospitals), vinegar for digestive issues, clear liquid diets for nausea, BRAT diet for diarrhea ( banana, rice, applesauce, toast) and so forth. Today commercials offer quick relief from symptoms if you take this drug, or that drug. In actuality the illness will last longer if the immune system gets this kind of interference. Plus, the benefit of allowing the immune system to work, is that it becomes stronger! A strong immune system = less illness and/ or quicker recovery. 😇

Thank you for your prayers my son came off of being incubated to being awake and is alert.
They are still trying to figure out what caused him to have the seizure.
Luckily he was buckled in and other than being sore and a pretty big knot on his head he's ok. We are trying to keep him calm. He doesn't know what happened exactly but that's ok.
I don't give a damn about my truck as long as I don't lose him.

May I ask all you fine people that pray, to please for my son.
He had a seizure while driving and is in the ICU at the moment..
