Castor oil works great too. I use it for oil pulling. I found out about it accidentally one night. I have a broken front tooth, it got badly infected so bad it woke me up in the middle of the night. The infection had moved up into my sinuses. I put some Castor oil in my mouth and bent forward letting the oil sit on the broken tooth. I did that for about half an hour. The pain stopped and I went back to sleep. In the morning ALL the infection had moved into my upper lip, and by the end of the day it was all gone.
