IMO, the key to ending this nonsense of pride parades, inclusion in everything Christian is for the PEOPLE to stand up and refuse to attend these events. When the city, sponsors, merchants, and others feel the loss of REVENUE, then and only then will it end. The PEOPLE have the POWER! Sadly too few choose to use that power effectively. 😇

I give it all to Him, but I talk to God about the anger, the sadness, the emptiness, the loss, the pain, the heartache, the loneliness. I loss my dad, when I was 17, a Senior in high school, lost my mom when I was in my 40's. Loss a niece when she was a Senior in High School, a sister to cancer a year prior to my mom passing, lost one of my brothers just over 10 months ago, I have lost a great nephew, a nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles, so many it's so hard sometimes. I never knew either of my grandpas, and I my grandmas, passed one when I was 7 and the other in my 20's. So I completely understand and the loss and sadness that you are feeling. I am 58 now, but life has been a real struggle for so long. I just wish Jesus would come back and wipe all of it away. But it's His plan, not mine, that's what I keep coming back to. LEARNING TO LIVE HUMBLY

Have you ever met an angry Christian?

You may have come across Christians who love to grumble, complain, or even speak harshly about other people. Maybe you've even been that person at times in your own life.

If we're not careful, we can easily become self-righteous within Christianity. After all, we know the truth and others may not. You might see how tempting it can be to look down upon other people, demean them, or consider them as worse than ourselves.

But this misses the point of the Gospel of Jesus.

The Gospel tells us that all of us begin at the same starting point. And it's only through grace that we come to salvation and learn the truth about God's love for us.

When you reflect the character of Jesus consistently over time, others will be drawn to the "fruits of the Spirit" in you.
