I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my two dachshunds 8 days apart in December. It is so quiet in the house now. I miss them terribly. I get the feeling of freedom. I'm not barked awake at 6:30 every morning. But I am so lonely and lost without them. I also spent today cleaning. Those little girls could shed like rock stars! I can't imagine living the rest of my life without dogs, but can't imagine going through this heartache ever again.

I lost both of my dachshunds in 8 days. They were 16 and almost 15. They were the light of my life. I lost my lifelong friend the day before Thanksgiving, then both dogs in a span of 31 days. I am a broken mess. I can't imagine life without dogs, but can't imagine going through this heartache again.
