Dear God, I ask that You help me to always act in the right manner. Father, I desire to be godly in all my ways and I know that You have given me all I need in order to do so. Lord, may You hlep me in times where it seems like I am straying; guide me back to Your way, Lord. In Jesus' Name, I Pray. Amen.

Gracious God, You sent Your Son to let us know the joy that comes from the gift of salvation won for us by Jesus. Help us to remember always to give You thanks and praise for Your great love for us. Amen.

SHARE YOUR FAITH

When you reflect the character of Jesus consistently over time, others will be drawn to the "fruits of the Spirit" in you.

A PRAYER FOR LOVE

God, Your Word inspires me to be humble, gentle, and patient. But I can't do those things if Your love isn't in me. Please teach me to offer grace to those around me--from Your love. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

CONCERNS

“When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.”

MATTHEW 2:9 KJV

Jesus will guide you where you are meant to go.

Express your concerns to Him. Then, rejoice in His perfect guidance.

A PRAYER FOR BREAKTHROUGH

God, I thank You for Your freedom and Your Spirit. Today, give me the wisdom, boldness, and the right words to speak as I share Your good news and freedom with others. Guide my conversations. FIll me with Your Spirit. In Your Name, Amen.

GOD'S PROTECTION

Jesus, because of Your life and death--I have nothing to fear. Thank You for being my Savior and protector. I know I can find joy each day because You are guarding and guiding me with each step I take. Amen.

A PRAYER OF THANKS FOR NEW LIFE

Jesus, You came to earth, died, and rose again. Thank You. Without You there is no life! Thank You that I get to believe in You even without seeing You in the flesh. Thank You, also, that on the other side of this life, I WILL get to see You. What an incredible meeting that will be! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

December 16th,

Dear Jesus,

I come to You with my gaping neediness--asking You to fill me with the Light of Your Love. I realize that a heart yielded to You doesn't whine or rebel when the going gets tough. Instead, it musters up the courage to thank You during hard times. Subordinating my will to Yours is ultimately an act of trust.

I long to walk peacefully with You through this day, yet I'm distracted by wondering if I can cope with all that's expected of me. My natural tendency is to mentally rehearse how I will do this or that. Help me instead to keep my mind on Your Presence and on taking the next step. The more demanding my day, the more I need to depend on Your strength. Teach me to view my neediness as a blessing--believing that You designed me for deep dependence on You. Challenging times wake me up and amplify my awareness of my inadequacy.

The secret place of the Most High God, is found in Jesus Christ. To the men of the old, the plan of Christ to come was a mystery. But we, who are in the new covenant, no longer behold mysteries because God has revealed everything to us. We dwell in Christ and in Him we are protected from the devices of the enemy.

Dear God, I thank You for the security that I have in Christ. Though the enemy may try to bring me down, I know that he will never succeed because I am hidden in You, Lord. May I never lose hope, Lord, and may I always remember the great assurance I have in You. In Jesus' Name, I Pray. Amen.

HONOR GOD

God gave us the promise of Jesus long before He was born.

Take a moment to rejoice and praise god for His promises.

A PRAYER TO SHOW LOVE SINCERELY

God, please make me quick to listen today. Show me how to love others sincerely and practically. Change the way I approach people by replacing my anger and frustration with grace, empathy, and understanding. Fill me with Your peace and love so that my attitude and actions reflect Your character. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
