Honestly, I have no answers. It seems the generational values have changed so much. It’s hard to understand. Just don’t give in to the blackmail. Once you start, it just changes and evolves to other things. Sorry you are having to deal with this. Heartbreaking.

I have dealt with a similar situation. Never ever give in to manipulation. Once you start, it never ends. Bless her and hope you get to see the kiddo from time to time. If not, it’s not on you.

I was just out on the road by Spring Hill and there is a lot of traffic but my neighbors have told me their family was in a 6-7 hour back up on I-75 north. Local reports said the back roads are bad as well. Use your own judgement. I’m just passing the info along.

Do not have her get on the freeway or any other back roads. It’s is taking over 8 hours to get from St Pete to Tallahassee right now. No gas along the way. Have her get to a shelter. Praying for her safety

This is not true. I’m here in Florida and things are open and moving. They do close the bridges at a certain point from the islands to the mainland but everyone get ample notice to evacuate. Please don’t spread false info. It created panic.
