Absolutely no offense to any new comers but i delete every single "started following you" that hits my time-line. I'm not here for followers or followings. I feel hooked up to enough posts. I don't have time to go through all followers or following so it is what it is at this point. Trump gets back in the Whitehouse I'm gonna smash my phone and get a land line with an answering machine.

Agree, I let very few new ones in depending on who it is and what they post (if they don't post anything, including no comments, then that is weird also).

Yes, I have thought the same thing. Sometimes people do out of wanting to give others the benefit of the doubt, or they follow back and don't go on their site to check it out.

I saw the word 'discernment' posted by some I follow three times at the time these accounts started popping up. Perhaps, we were expecting this infiltation by nefarious actors. They see all.

Bright red flag is when a new account is following thousands of accounts in a matter of hours or days.

Same. There's been a rash of them since the beginning of the year. I’ve blocked a bunch. Most reference Telegram accts as well.

Last week, I went back through my list of followers, Re-checked all with few posts, some got on and I missed the notifications.

Seems they are now making posts to try to look legit. If the posts have telegram links with generated names or which do not make words (or word like), they are suspect.
