BREAKING: Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico has been shot while greeting a crowd in the town of Handlova.

According to the BBC, a witness heard three or four shots and saw Fico fall to the ground with apparent wounds to his chest and head.

He was rushed to the hospital where he is reportedly being treated.

I've already told the wife that I am going to fight the fight even [and especially] if it means dying for it. We are virtually penniless, broken and alone.
