**Broken**
You know I’m a little broken don’t you?
All the parts don’t seem to fit. Some are scattered on the floor, some are in boxes up on the shelf.
I scare myself a little sometimes; I have to be wary not to scare others.
I push boundaries to prove my brokenness .
I’m not always sure where the lines are or if I have crossed them in my overzealous drive for attention and acceptance.
Sometimes I want to go home...
but I don’t think I’ve ever been there.
Sometimes I think I just want to be held...
but I can’t guarantee that would be enough.
Which leaves me to faced the terror an the knowledge that I am truly broken...
and that is all that I could do.
