🇺🇸 SHELTER-IN-PLACE ISSUED AFTER DEADLY CHEMICAL RELEASE AT SHELL PEMEX FACILITY IN DEER PARK, TX

Residents in Deer Park and parts of Pasadena, TX, are urged to shelter-in-place after a Hydrogen Sulfide release at the Shell Pemex facility around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Highway 225 is closed, and emergency units are responding.

Hydrogen Sulfide is a dangerous gas, and residents should stay indoors, close windows and doors, and turn off air conditioners until further notice.

Heavenly Father, Ruler of Heaven and Earth, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Your humble servant comes to You in prayer. Father, I ask that You forgive those that think they are on the same level as You. I know, and all will know, that You are the one true God. I pray that You keep us safe in these uncertain times, my Lord, calming the hearts of those who wish to see others perish.
