The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that President Donald Trump is expected to sign is the fiscal 2026 defense policy bill, a comprehensive piece of legislation authorizing a record $901 billion in annual military spending—$8 billion more than the Trump administration requested.

There were six people on the private plane when it fell from the sky. It is unclear who was piloting the aircraft.
