I ain't no spring chicken anymore. 'if' I survive through the worst of it, it will take years to fix that which this administration has broke.
Just pray the grand kids will see the pot at the end of the rainbow 🌈

I have already resigned myself to the fact that I will not see the end. "The best is yet to come" won't be for all who knows and have been waiting.

I grew up in a small town up north.
We never locked our doors and we could walk around at night without fear. And yes, we had rifles in our trucks

There are now fires in Oregon

Thanks for sharing all these clips. I've learned a lot

I understand completely. I haven't like flying now for 20 years; tsa check points and the screenings and pat downs. I never understood why my mother (at the time in her 80's) would get patted down EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE FLEW! But now that I'm pushing that age, I too have started getting the same treatment. I never flew from 2020-2022; didn't want to go through all that stuff. Now i will be venturing out next wk to visit my mom with one of my granddaughters. At her request. At 10 SHE wanted to see her great grandmother (GG). Who can deny that?

This is awesome. Just hope my knees and legs/stamina will be rejuvenated by then

Yea, I told my family at the beginning of the year "I predict a bad hurricane season". I pray I was wrong, but the way things are shaping up, I don't think so.

that's fine. more room for the influx of people coming in that want to be here. My city has grown like wildfire in the last couple years. Apartment buildings going up everywhere there's space. What used to be pastures and you-pick fields are now all developed. I hate it.

"Those were the days my friend,
we thought they'd never end
we'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live a life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days
oh, yes, those were the days

I noticed that too; along with many others on my timeline

I do the same. Have my own generator and use distilled water (even though it takes longer to make) Use it allll the time. Double up when I feel something coming on

I remember when Barbie first came out. My mother wouldn't let us have one. Why? Because she said it would give us a wrong image of who we were; the way God created us to be as an individual. We are to be who we were created to be. Not a carbon copy of someone else

In response Carol Roberts to her Publication

I had the same response

I really feel for those trapped in these large corporation's. And it is getting harder and harder for good, decent, hardworking people to find jobs. They are being caught up between a rock and a hard place. Especially those companies who will not hire a white male and are only hiring 'people of color'. It's going to get really bad before it gets better.

I have it too. It IS very interesting to see how events overlapped and puts history into perspective

I see that as well some times but have no clue what it means

thanks, the new system was giving me fits too, so reverted by to the old, so that may be an issue as well.

that's why the educational funding needs to follow the child. You can have neighborhood schools where the parents pay a teacher to come help with their education.

forgive my pessimism, but by the time anyone sees this come to fruition, those who have been waiting for 20 +years will be gone and won't see any of it. The preverbal carrot.
