Everyone i know and my husband and I had to pay property taxes this summer. Nothing in our area has changed, nothing different with banks either. Will this be a 2026 thing?

I did quit mine last Thursday. I worked with IDD people, i couldn't stand by watching them being treated poorly anymore. State would do nothing. Forcing clients to live in horrible places, even bed bugs, giving them only 5 dollars a week for spending, all while Forcing us to work 16 hrs get 2 to 3 hrs sleep and go back and work another 8 to 16. Some worked 30 plus straight, so much illegal stuff. Not worth $13 an hr

Totally agree! My husband is a retired deputy, no state tax thankfully, but geez, just feel disgusted, i made under 15,000.

Such bull!! My husband and I filed today, we owe over 2,000. Just disgusted at all the frivolous spending! and we all are taxed so much on everything, apparently my employer didn't take enough taxes out, ugh

We just got power back last night, my mother got hers back today. Brutally cold also. Another round to hit us Friday into Saturday additional 4 to 6 inches. We lost our food...again.

Same with our neighborhood, no power, no cell service at all for 3rd day in southern WV. Idiots came on a flooded road, to core drill for the stupid highway. My family are at my mother's in the next town, she never lost power
