The common cold has officially made it to my town.

There's panic in the streets.

I know, a case of the common cold has never been front page news until now.

🤣🤣🤣

I was raised working on a farm... Believe you me, NOTHING STOPPED because of a cold - NOTHING.

You had to be already dead & cold when gran found you if you were going to get out of chores...

Later in life, how many times did I show up & work my ass off - by employer's demand - until I was wrecked, because I didn't take care of myself...

Not many years til I started working for myself & setting my own rules.

This is the part of the movie where things get hysterically funny.

It's really a good thing that I don't go out much, beause I'd get myself in trouble for bitch-slapping some of these CovID10ts, for sure.

I'm tempted to put a sign in my back window:

HONK if you think Covid is a total SCAM!

I wonder how much trouble I could get into with that?

Bingo!

We went to work with broken hands, broken feet, pounding heads or sick stomachs.

I remember getting up at night to find Gran still busy mending some piece of clothing or other. We had patches on our clothes, sure, but I never realized where they came from until then. It was just something she did.

Our pantry stayed full & we always had enough to share with others in need.

We ran on INTESTINAL FORTITUDE.

We volunteered to help others get crops in, raise a barn, kill chickens, or have a canning bee. Why? Because we loved our neighbors & enjoyed helping them.

We didn't do it for ourselves; we were part of a family that needed us.

We did that OUT OF LOVE.

You & I should talk, fren. I am likewisse prepared.

However, I gave my last pack of Carmagiola hemp from Italy to a friend intent on growing it... so now my collection includes mostly sativa, indica & ruderalis & a variety of ancient specimens, such as a pre-1974 der amanap. Excellent medicine plants, including many that are very low THC/high CBD.

I'd love to be back in the 4 Corners area again, but I'm getting old & it's such a hassle MOVING things.

When this bullshit is over & NESARA rolls out, I'm planning on fixing this place up chocolate box perfect, with all the trimmings, then head a bit north, out of hurricane country.

Randolph Co. comes to mind. I've wanted springs for a long time & there are plenty there. Bit higher elevation, better quality of goats up there as well, LOL.

Dang, Yester!

Have you been reading my mail?

You just described my early life...

You just described why living in town is so miserable for me.

Leaf blowers & light pollution from people scared of the dark.

They don't appreciate my pack of hounds.

They're shocked at my wardrobe because I'm not one to give up on a garment with history...

The not knowing who is my neighbor is the thing.

Here, we have the Ezells on one side of us, nobody behind us, nobody the other side... A guy across the road I have not met yet.

When we first moved in, Ezell asked me, "You guys are Trump supporters aren't you? The whole neighborhood is hereabouts. Do you have guns? You really need to have guns out here, just in case. Not that it's dangerous or anything."

LOL

Good neighbors. They grow watermelons to trade for blueberries, etc.

They respect a good pig.

They LIKE my lead dog because she doesn't bark at bullshit; rather, Ezell knows by the tone of her bark whether he needs to go out & take a look.

Good neighbors.

LOL..

People in Chickasaw were always shocked that I had a pistol on my hip when walking the dog.

ATM, my closest weapon is about 12 feet from me - my 20 ga shotgun.

I have a .38 in the kitchen drawer only 8 feet away, but let's be honest - I ain't about to be leaping over the bar into the kitchen, so let's count that one 15 feet to get around the corner...

There's a .40 auto in the top drawer of the rolltop desk.

Another shotgun in the bedroom...

And then we have the 2 closets full of weapons for hunting, such as crossbows, my old recurved, and various caliber for game.

I'm always friendly AF, but folks know not to mess with me.

Basically, "you don't want none; won't be none.."
