I saw the pain dr yesterday. I have it straightened out. Now the back procedures will be last and my neck procedures will be scheduled soon. First they need the ok from my cardiologist for me to stop the blood thinner for the procedures, which I already discussed with him and he has no problem with. So hopefully very soon I'll be hearing from them with my first procedure appointment. I was also given a prescription for pain medication to help me until I can get these procedures done. Not sure it helps the pain but I did get a couple hours of sleep. But once again I was up at 1 AM in so much pain in my neck and head holding an ice pack to it and nauseated so badly. I'm still nauseated and have a headache now. I'll be so glad when these nerves are killed in my neck. They will be doing procedures on C4, C5, C6 and C7. I just want and need relief from this pain. Please continue to pray.
I've been thru it. L4/L5 (2X, since it badly got infected and almost killed me), C4/C5/C6/C7/T1. After C6-T1 I feel down my steps and crushed C4/C5, damaged my spine, temporarily paralyzed my arms and cracked my sternum in half. 2 years later, some lingering things they're still trying to fix, but doing great, all things considered.
You can do this. Time and patience and prayer and rest will get you healthy again.
