Trump endorses Bruce Blakeman for NY governor — a day after GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik dropped out of race

President Donald Trump backed Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for New York governor Saturday, a day after Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) announced her stunning withdrawal from the race.

“Bruce is MAGA all the way, and has been with me from the very beginning,” the president posted on his Truth Social account, in his first endorsement since the dramatic development in the Republican primary.

He called Blakeman, a longtime friend, a “fantastic guy” who will “win the big November Election” against Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY).

More than three dozen missing children were rescued from sex traffickers in North Florida after a massive sting.

The rescue effort, named Operation Northern Lights, found 43 missing children across 14 counties with more children found in other states, the US Marshals Service announced Thursday.

Federal authorities said the youngest victims were one-year-olds and that one of the young victims had been abducted from Florida and located in Louisiana.

Wow, I am shocked this is not in the national news. I live here in the greater Seattle area. I know people who have been stranded, one of my friends lost a platform he built on his riverside property ,I did warn him the river can change and sweep away houses , thankfully it was not a house. But many houses are floating down the rivers , mud slides in many places, major highway closed due to the erosion and half or the whole road is gone. Farms are wiped out, for instance a veggie and egg farmer and his wife lost everything, chickens drown, seeds destroyed, house flooded to the roof everything a loss , now forced into retirement early as it would take money they just dont have.
It is WIDE SPREAD in all the valley areas and lowlands. Couple that with power outages, from high winds. NOT NORMAL ! a little flooding each year (?) yes but never before like this.
