Maybe not be there and have a friend or neighbor see that he get his things and you don't even be around... There is no reason to put yourself in danger.

I feel the need to say this bc I've been in your shoes and I was NEVER going to allow it again. I made arrangements to not be home w/o him knowing in advance, an emergency came up..

I used to live in the Oklahoma City area. I think you can request a police officer be present when your ex is there if you explain he's already been violent with you.

The wise thing to do is not to put yourself in harms way. Have a trusted friend or two go to your home, place the items together outside and have the friends guard your home in your absence. Notify the police of your plan and ask for a patrol car to drive by your home, or park in the street. May God guide you with His wisdom in this matter. 🙏

Might be a good idea to call a Locksmith to change locks if not already done. If you know what he wants, put stuff in a box and leave it outside. Be gone when he gets there (if you trust he won't steal everything else). If you can't trust him, call sheriff's office for assistance or have a friend be with you. Best of luck.🙏🏼

I suggest you call a Policeman or Sheriff to meet you while your ex is there.

If he is threatening, then like with a child tantrums aside, if your not there can he enter? if so would it be classed as break in & entry??, people need to teach these thugs how to behave, properly!!, These plebs need to be taught a lesson, to change bad behavior, it's not the kind of behaviour you accept from a child, never mind an adult

Put his items boxed outside where he can pick them up without coming in.. Call your local sheriff's dept. and ask for a deputy to be present. Better yet don't be there when he arrives, text him that his belongings are outside waiting for him. Don't return without a deputy escort if you feel threatened.

Agree with the others stating to place his items outside. Do not invite him in. Do not engage him. Call the sheriff and have him there to monitor the pick up. Then keep your head on a swivel till you know he's out of town again. I would also consider a restraining order. Document EVERYTHING...including his contact informing you he was coming to get his stuff. Everything. Also...if you have a friend that has a big dog that you could borrow for the time...that might also be good. As well as "anything" you think you might need to protect yourself. Prayers are with you!
