I felt like this once...I adopted a dog. She gave me unconditional love, and in return, I had a reason to live. I know a lot of others have said encouraging things and everyone is correct in their respected ways.
Being a USCG Vet and someone who had to deal with many situations of suicidal shipmates I worked along side of and some that no one knew was suicidal, I’d like to just remind you that we are all in this fight together and we all are here for one another and if one feels weakened or falls down, or 100, we all are here to help with any situation and in any capacity we can no matter the circumstances.
So to whatever we can do for you to help, encourage, or if anything else for someone to hear you out, plz speak out to anyone on here and it goes for anyone who might be in the same situation to never feel like your weakened or like you can’t because more times then not we just fall off course and need to a little help to get back on the main road just like we would do if we asks Siri or google for directions. Stay strong 💪

I took the early retirement July of this year. Had enough. Me and the wife are best friends again and I love doing projects around the house. We go on short one or 2 day trips where we can drive to and eating at great restaurants. We are living on a third of what I used to make but it's working. My wife has always been a stay at home mom and I was the sole income. It's a decision you have to make between what's more important to you , your time or your profession. It's a tough one but I made the right one.
Questioning everything led to my progressive awakening. Still learning daily. A new me, The Real Me is emerging. Strange, but I like her.
We need you and God needs you. You are His child and He loves you. We love you. Talk to God about your troubles and thank Him for your blessings, too. Do it daily. It may feel weird at first, but I promise you it will begin to bring you a peace and joy that surpasses understanding.

I definately feel that when you call out deep from your heart for the next stage you shift with Gods grace... thats what happened for me... I got a warp speed near death expereince and then loads of little miricles signs and wonders... He has to know you've had enough of having enough.

Unplug, go for a walk, learn a new skill, read some scripture, have a cookout, talk to God, listen to music, listen to the natural world, listen and watch for signs.
Take a break, part of our journey is to recharge and return stronger as we practice the skill of being in the storm.
Each time we last longer between recharges, and eventually when the tempest rages, we learn to be at peace when the hurricane wall passes over.
Not despite it, but rather we know it is nothing compared to the origins of who we really are and who we are the image and likeness of.
