I want to learn and teach atmospheric electric field research and combine it with old knowledge about gardening and farming by moon and winds. Weeding on north wind days on waning moon and planting on south wind days on waxi g moon, just before rain. Explained in real calendars we used to have. Tidal forces explained by electricity and magnetic field. Real science. 🇺🇸
When Nana was little my Pa was bed ridin for the few years that he lived that I remember, so I would sit on his bed in the den and listen to his stories.
He bought me my first pony when I was about 5 and taught me everything I would ever need to know about horses.
He was a crop farmer and had animals as well, cows, sheep, goats, chickens. The whole farm thing.
I remember one of the stories he told about his brother and planting corn. My Pa planted by the moon signs, only planted when the moon was right for particular crops. His brother, when he started farming thought that was just stupid bullshit.
So my Pa planted his corn those years by the moon and tried to get him to listen but he did not. He just planted it willy nilly what ever day he wanted.
After 2 yrs of my Pa having a great corn crop and his being an epic fail he finally started listening about when to plant.

When I was 7 my grandparents brought me to visit family in West Virginia. The men were coal miners & the women did farm work, cook, sew, etc…
I lived in a decent sized town back home so all of this was new to me. I got to sleep on my Great Aunts feather bed. They had no A/C, outhouse out in the yard, no inside plumbing. Well, they slept with the windows open. I woke up to a huge milk cow sticking its head in the window & licking my legs! Rooster was crowing, shoo’d the cow to look out the window to see what all the racket was about. My Aunt was slinging a chicken around her head to break the neck, promptly chopped the head off cause that was going to be chicken & bisquits for breakfast! she laughed at me & said my eyes were the size if saucers.

I have only looked at the planting part of it the last few years online so idk but you can find it online as well.

My family were and some still are farmers and ranchers.
They planted, harvested, weaned calves, etc, etc by the moon.
We always had an abundance of crops, even veggie and melons!
I still use this method. Have tried planting when its a "barren" time and the things I planted did not do as well.

Brilliant! Reminds me of the videos on YouTube that show planting magnets under/next to plants makes them grow faster/bigger. Lunar cycle likely causing similar effect.

We've heard similar advice about planting potatoes and didn't really believe it. I think we'll pay more attention in the future.

Timing is different for seed, seedlings, and tubers like potatoes but the planting almanac will direct you.

Thank you for this, I always love to hear where old wisdom prevais. Your Pa was a wise man. He had seen it so he knew. People always have to be shown not just told, the effect needs to be seen with own eyes for it to make sense. I hear this a lot. Corn needs to be planted on waxing moon so that it uses more strenght to grow upwards, potatoes on waning moon so they grow more downwards.

farmers almanac used a lunar calendar for each crop planted that was depending on the tidal pull of water, the season, amount of sun light North, South, East, West etc. Natural food from natural source, very accurate. Now its a box of toxic saw dust with a plant based "food" label. We are all sick.
