As a teenager in the car with my father some guy whistled at me while we were pulling out of a parking lot.
I gave him the finger.
My father was a Nixon-Republican, devout Lutheran and would get angry if we swore.
He got nervous and mad at the same time I did that.
He was pretty adamant in his own beliefs privately but not one to rock the boat.
I could never hold my tongue.
My husband is just like my father. Never stands up until it's a situation that pushes him, which is extremely rare.
I don't know why I am like this. I'm like the little tiny dog that spews froth from my mouth with my tail standing up straight every time i see a mean, big dog way bigger than me.
I want justice and I forget my size, but I think God made me this way for a reason. Let me at 'em.

Massachusetts House Unanimously Passes Bill to Allow Women to Sell Their Babies to Highest Bidder

The bill passed under the guise of LGBTQ rights

Under the state’s current laws, paid and traditional surrogacy is permitted — but for traditional surrogacy, the would-be “parents” must adopt the baby and, therefore, pass a background check. Additionally, at least one of the parents must be related to the infant

The bill would also change the description of “parenthood,” under the law from being based on biology or adoption to a “person’s intent to be a parent of a child”

The change will remove all mentions of mothers and fathers from parentage law and replace them with gender-neutral terms

Background checks exist in the adoption process to protect children from being placed in dangerous homes

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case on Tennessee’s ban on s*x change surgeries and cross-s*x hormones for minors.

This is huge. Their decision can set the precedent for every state which passed laws banning the medical transition of minors.
