One hour to go and Christmas 🎄 is over here in Australia 🇦🇺 THANK FUCK! I used to host and love this time of year but as I enter my crone years I see all the stress, financial burden and family dramas and realise what a scam it really is!
It’s Christmas for me everyday! 🤷🏻♀️ I spend time with my family and loved ones throughout the year not just today. I’m generous ALL year round and love to buy gifts when I can afford it and most importantly WANT to.
I cook family feasts all the time and know the people sitting at my table WANT to be there and don’t feel obligated to!
The last big family gathering I had was back in September just a random Sunday and I’m glad I didn’t wait until Christmas to do so. I unexpectedly lost a dear family member shortly after 😢
