I understand your frustration with everything goong on. Children should not be in danger if the world was perfect which it is not. Failure of leaders, parrents, adults unfortunately cause others to suffer.
My question would be, 'what would you have to be done?'
Now go do it!
If you can't and are not strong enough, pray about it and trust God.

I too feel your frustration. That said, everyone is more than likely trying to help and be optimistic as they hide their own frustration.
I sooo want this movie to be over. Dissapointment (or frequent dissapointment) will make the ending more meaningful. I stop, I pray, and turn it over to God.
