Not one single soul lost can be replaced by the amount these institutions made. The mere fact that they were willing to sacrifice a person's life for the blood money being offered is offensive. I resisted our family physician's advise to get that jab along with my Mama. We never got covid even though we were exposed several times. My mama passed away at the age of 100 years 17 days old. She had all her faculties and her dear soul was at peace as she went up into Heaven surrounded by those who loved her best. I am sorry for those who were not so fortunate.

Dear God, we know that spiritual warfare is real. The powers of darkness exist and they try to pull us away from the light and apart from You. Give me wisdom and strength to battle this darkness in Your Name. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that I no longer have to live in darkness but may rejoice as a member of Your Holy Kingdom. We know You will conquer evil and darkness. Help me to live my life as a light shining in the darkness to help draw others to You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Those living in sin are living in darkness. Even more, they are living under the power of darkness. We have a true enemy and it exists in this power of darkness pulling us further away from the light and from truth. It is in darkness where we try to hide our sins. However, we do not have to live in darkness! God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us! When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, He is quick to forgive us and we become a part of His Kingdom. There is no darkness in His Kingdom. Praise God1

Jesus, You have shown me what true humility look like by giving up Your life for my sake. Today, as I interact with other people, help me to consider others before myself. And help me to do this not from a place of insecurity--but because I know who I am and I love who You are. Amen.

God, You know how much division there is in this world. I pray Your Church will be an example of the unity only Your love can bring. Help me to foster unity in every environment I step into, seeking to understand and keeping my focus on Christ. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

THE IMPORTANCE OF UNITY

What does unity mean to you? in a chaotic and divided world, sometimes the word "unity" can sound like something irrelevant, something that just can't work in the broken world we live in. Division is nothing new. In fact, it was a challenge very early in church history and something the apostle Paul addressed head-on.

In 1 Corinthians 1, we see that Paul had received reports that believers in Corinth were segmenting themselves based on who share the gospel with them. They said things like, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Christ." Rather than being united as one body of Christ, they were dividing themselves into smaller groups and factions.

STAND TOGETHER

People are accusing Jesus saying that He is possessed by Beelzebul while He is casting out demons. Jesus points out the foolishness of that. When a house is divided, it can't last. Considering how divided Christianity is at times, I'm amazed that there are still Christians in our world. It is truly the work of the Holy Spirit! There is so much that unites us, and I believe that it is the work of satan that is dividing us. Can you imagine the changes that our world would experience if all Christians worked together to live out a gospel of love? What if everyone understood the goodness of God and the Good News of salvation that Jesus won for us? If we could stop squabbling about which type of Christianity was the best, people might look at us and say the same thing that they said about the early Christians - see how they love one another!

This might seem redundant, seeing as the Lord already knows all that resides in your heart. Yet, this is wrongheaded. Great prayers are like superb conversations. Just as one wouldn't expect an interesting conversation to be formulaic, but instead spontaneous and dynamic, so too explores and finds out what one understands of something by 'thinking through your mouth'. Prayer is not simply a stale routine, but rather a dialogue, a game of improvisation and exploration with God, who loves to listen.
