Putting my hand* on an old tree (several, indeed) was a much needed therapy today. The trees were there before me, will be there after me, and I don't need to do anything for life to keep on doing its thing.

Anons are motivational superheroes. No orders, no command structure, no pay packet, no promotions, no medals, not even praise from your commanding officer. You have to be self-directed and self-motivated, willing to endure hardship from economic warfare, expect no personal recognition, and only care about the intrinsic value of truth and honour.

I am feeling a bit torn as The Big Event™ truth and justice show reaches the public stage. Do I become ever more reclusive to protect myself from overstress and attacks? Do I accept the limelight that comes with having "done the work" in the last few years and participate in online and real world events? Do I have a duty to help solve problems in tech that I know a lot about but I don't feel moved to engage with right now? What's my purpose and mission once everything goes completely mainstream?

The open source intelligence process of Q and the anons rebuilds the foundations of our collective understanding of the world. Critically, it is not tainted by the "fruit of the poisoned tree" of classified data derived from spying. In many ways it is the ultimate altruistic labour of love; vast troves of understanding often produced in conditions where no personal credit is possible.
