dearstmomma Tee. i know your pain. just went thru the same thing, hubbys bp so high 235/134 and yet he was without any symptoms at all. who knows how long it was that high. we dont go to docs but use supplements to prevent all negatives in the body. good quality ones i respect the owner. they actually worked better 10 years ago that bp meds. its been 3 plus weeks. all labs are normal. heart normal except for mild left hypertrophy not unusual at 79. nothing worked for him either. finally 40 mg of lisinopril and another one begins with C which i dont know. all taken at the same time has brought it down and more consistent and feeling better about it now. we had to cancel a cruise (but glad we did). now we pray it stays in the 165/90 range. its more his normal.. he has only one kidney and that creates a high bp normal to them. many prayers to you at this time. we prayed many times during the day, and knew eventually a positive outlook would happen. an APRN actually was wonderful..prayers
