None of my photos is taken because it will sell or go on a wall, even if a few may have that destiny. The impact comes from the development of empathy with the audience over time, who see walk after walk and can put themselves into my shoes and vicariously enjoy the micro wonders of the world.

I went to see my parents last weekend in order to make peace and reconnect. I have been badly wronged in the last few years, and my sense is that they understand that is so, even if they cannot acknowledge it openly. Most of the photos I took are private portraits; just a few to put here to symbolise the building of bridges.

Had a meeting last week in the poorest part of Birmingham with two young folk setting up a new private police constabulary on the same legal basis as the "official" state police forces, but solely dedicated to sovereignty and common law. More at https://mrpoliceconstabulary.com/.

Went to Stowe today, run by the National Trust. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/oxfordshire-buckinghamshire-berkshire/stowe Is it me, or is some of this architecture "Tartarian"?

I really miss being able to share my photos with a large audience on Twitter. Digital exile is a slightly morose place to be long term. All I want to do is bring people a bit of cheer and beauty! Because they have a relationship with me via my avatar, they see the photos not just as images, but feel empathy for "Martin having his moments of playful fun and soulful gratitude". The impact of the art is in the context of fighting a hybrid info-spiritual war. It knowingly vibes above the enemy's tone, so cannot be hit via "surface to art missiles".

All I want to do at the moment is find time to read, research, and restock ideas — plus heal myself from the stresses of the last few years. Writing essays, doing admin, or marketing my work have low appeal. After just an hour or two of focus work I am really tired. Yet somehow we have to soldier on each day, as the demands of the world insist on participation in all these more dreary tasks.

Funny how we don't build stuff like this any more.
