You soak weed in a high proof alcohol like grain alcohol or clear moonshine for a 15-30 min, then filter out and strain til you have a yellow colored alcohol. HASCO First Foto or now called Growing Family. I used to work for them in the 90's. Based in St. Charles, MO. I was a camera technician and repaired the cameras. Eventually worked with the engineering team to develop the digital system you are talking about. At that time they still had 35mm storage as well as the new digital storage and were only allowed to keep them for 2yrs. Especially the film storage as that takes up physical storage.
