That's an amazing family history you have! There are some of us here on AU that have ancestors that fought in the American Revolution (including@Auntie_M ) and we're here fighting again not by chance. This time to 1776 (actually 1775) the World! Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution! (even if unofficial)

Now as far as our Founding Fathers, we have been taught one version of History, but I think that version may obviously contain some holes, purposeful omissions, falsehoods and misrepresentations, because History is written by the Victors - and it's pretty clear to me that America may have been partially sold down the river to the Crown of England and other European Elites. After all, they make more money taxing us if we only THINK we are free!
