So do you believe Thomas Jefferson was truly a loyal Patriot? One of my ancestors, Revolutionary War Veteran, Major Samuel Scott, had 1000+ acres of land adjacent to Jefferson's land in Virginia. He believed Jefferson stole his land & they went to court about it, but Jefferson won the case. Records say the Major "went to the grave with a grudge in his heart" so I tend to think he KNEW he was mistreated.

Now as far as our Founding Fathers, we have been taught one version of History, but I think that version may obviously contain some holes, purposeful omissions, falsehoods and misrepresentations, because History is written by the Victors - and it's pretty clear to me that America may have been partially sold down the river to the Crown of England and other European Elites. After all, they make more money taxing us if we only THINK we are free!

So I am extremely grateful for them all & am mesmerized when I can learn more about how they loved family, faith & freedom.
