As with all treatments, I go by what it feels like.

I have the same issue... I use coconut oil for brushing my teeth to make them whiter, but haven't tried it for skin. I have been using pharmaceutical-grade castor oil on my skin. I like it because it doesn't affect the eyes in a negative way and can be used around the eyes to remove wrinkles. After four weeks of use, I can see a definite improvement in skin tone and am watching the castor oil remove wrinkles in slo-mo. I am also regrowing eyelashes and eyebrows.
