Well, the news from the eye dr wasn't good. For some reason I'm not seeing any better in my right eye after the cataract surgery. He said both eyes are healed, clear, and he sees no reason. He did a retina scan which turned out normal. So he is stumped at this point. I'm off all but one eye drop in that eye now, and see him next week. If no improvement in my vision, he will confer with a retina specialist to see if he has any idea why my vision hasn't improved. I could really use your continued prayers.

I've recently realized how much oxidiative stress I've put my body through - and I've completed a 14-day series of 100mg glycine and NAC precursors. I've removed the oxidative stress - but found my blood pressure was too low - and had to adjust my BP meds.

Please note that if you have an overactive immune system (as indicated by arthritis, etc.) you will need to reduce the recommended amounts of glycine and NAC precursors.
-----------

Deficient synthesis of glutathione underlies oxidative stress in aging and can be corrected by dietary cysteine and glycine supplementation.

After treatment with cysteine and glycine for 14 d, compared with presupplementation values, the elderly subjects in the postsupplemented state had a 94.6% higher RBC glutathione concentration.
