Gotcha beat Lil Mikie (😉) I can remember sitting around the radio on Friday nights to LISTEN to Gunsmoke (no TV in our home then), telephone party lines we shared with neighbors, playing 78rpm records on a phonograph, my brothers making skateboards from old roller skates’ wheels and 2” x 4” boards, traveling cross country without seat belts, riding four passengers in the front seat of our family station wagon, no rest stops along highways just mom and pop cafes that sometimes only had an outhouse, attending school five days a week nearly eight hours a day, taking the President’s fitness test and always missing 100% because of f-ing chin ups, waving to Eisenhower’s motorcade when he came to our base in Germany, and the introductions of TV dinners & McDonalds fast foods! Holy crap - I really am an old fart! 🤭🤣🤣🤣
