Did we humans assign the word G-o-d to be God's name?
Did we also assign the current perception of what God is as well?
"God" was not what Nana had been led to see in Sunday School when I left this Earth suit yrs ago.
God was better than that.
Many people are in such fear of hearing talk of God, "Spirituality" not being the "Religion" they were taught exactly, but perhaps it has simply not occurred to everyone that God could be much better much more grand than the Sunday School version, the version of and elderly man with a cane in the clouds with white hair and a white beard??
At our meeting yrs ago God was everything thing that existed everywhere, a higher dimensional being that could be anything or everything, but all overwhelming goodness and love.
pretty sure peeps human botched jthat book......when europeans showed up on this half the bible had been around in jewland for over 1k years.......natives had no idea who Jew God was or Jesus........then they got slaughtered raped enslaved and had everything stolen........why didnt they know about any of this?
I know people take offense to things extremely close to their heart as this, but for there to be over 4,000 religions world wide it’s impossible for the figure they depict as God being ruthless and shunning the other 3,999 religions other than their’s. It just can’t be.

The God in my NDE was only goodness and love, there did not seem to be any evil in existence, there was no judgement nor condemning.

I’ve always thought this, too. It did not seem to be logical that only Christians got to go to heaven but a good person, say in Africa who never had exposure to Christianity, would somehow not go to Heaven. I would say this in response to Christian friends who tried to convert me when I was younger. They were. claiming I wouldn’t go to heaven (where they were sure they were going to be, and as friends, wanted me there).

Patients that I have cared for as a nurse, who have related their stories of their NDE, cannot fully describe God. All have described something more like an enveloping, knowing, love of light. I think because God manifested as a man and became Jesus; the association is that God is a man as Jesus is depicted. 😇

I have noticed that some have the same type experience as me and some say they go thro tunnels with lights and see Jesus or other passed relatives.
I did not see any turnnels or lights in turnnels nor any beings other that like you said enveloped in God everywhere. I did know that I was energy tho just pure energy.
Later in my wide awake vision only a few yrs ago, God appeared as bright golden light in the shape of a man's silhouette with a white, man type gown. When he held out his hand to me his hand and part of his arm manifested into a human man arm.
makes sense...cause once something is drilled into our minds...that is what our perception becomes...thinking outside the box and knowing that God can do anything is the key

😘 I know it is hard, but it may be quit easier for me because of the NDE, I know what I saw and felt then.
That helps me to know more personally rather than having to depend solely on my attained faith as most ppl must.
In this Nana feels so very blessed.
