I think I have known my whole life something is not right about religion. I argue with my sister until she will no longer talk to me (both her & husband are ministers)
I am most interested in the real Bible, the true story.
I have always asked questions & will never take an answer with the grain of salt. My biggest fault as you will is trying to figure things out - why-how-when. I will never stop until I get the answer God agrees on.
I think the Churches are run by satan & not God-satan can really disguise himself.

It took me 68 years to learn God is inside us & not in a building. This part my sister argues with me about. I know God is in me - I didn't ask but he showed me. He loves us.

You are correct. Many scriptures reveal that the Holy Spirit indwells us when we believe. 😇 This is the restoration of Spiritual life that was lost in the garden. God withdrew his spirit from Adam and Eve, and so they died spiritually. Jesus came to establish the New Covenant and the Way in which our Spirit can be restored. It is by belief that we are saved. We are saved because we are no longer spiritually dead. We are made alive in Christ by the indwelling of His Spirit. That is the good news!
