I tried a Little today
Its a beta version I believe work in progress, it is clear it has limits in some way while it has speed, immense info, huge potential
Think of it as a toy
You play until it's boring
It feels like you are scared by what you watch and read about AI
Same as being scared by what we watched and read about deadly viruses versus being in control of our minds and emotions and do some actual research about viruses

I can appreciate your views on this, but I maintain that AI should be treated like fire - not like a toy. While we might be inclined to view it this way (especially when it is in its infancy), those who are creating it - while maybe not having evil intentions - are not building it as a toy.

In my view, people who are okay with AI do not have the necessary, HEALTHY fear of it that they should.

How do you prevent a person that can think for him/herself from forming opinions? Answer: You cannot.

Now take AI - how do we prevent an artificial lifeform that can think and act freely and independently from accessing all the crappy things human beings have done to each other and this world that are available via the internet of things from forming an opinion that human beings do not deserve life? Answer: You cannot.

We need to get our sh** together as a species before we start creating another - artificial or not.

One last thing to please consider.

May I ask you to please not make assumptions about me, what I may fear (or not), or how I am forming my opinions?

Also, I referenced a “fictional” series only because in every fable there is ALWAYS a message. Let us also not forget the constant message in our movement that Hollywood has been used (by both the “bad guys” & “good guys”) to tell us the truth of things. The bad used it as a deceptive way to comply with universal law & get our consent for the evil they do against us. Their argument? “We told you (via these “movies”) what we planned to do - you said nothing & even bought tickets to see our message” (how we “consent”). The good have used Hollywood to give us messages & WARNINGS about our history (all of this has happened before).

I cannot stop you from taking a nonchalant view of such a dangerous thing as AI, but I can try to warn you & others. We are here to BREAK the cycle of history, not perpetuate it.
