Are you all prepped already in case something big does happen in the next two months or so?
Maybe we can help each other out on AU and create a list.
(Made one last year, but it would take a while to find again.)

One of the top survival priorities in an emergency is to find and disinfect enough drinking water to supply your needs. Which method of water processing is right for different situations?

That's a good link for water purification -- thanks, Glyn! And am just now remembering what you told me about having a tent inside with sleeping back in case this all happens during the middle of a cold winter. Can you please tell everyone here more about that?

Years of mountain climbing experience in the high alpine … you can sleep very warm and comfortable in the outdoors with a good down 3 season or 4 season sleeping bag, thermal pad, and good tent to zero temps, even sleeping in the snow.
A home without heating you can do the same indoors even easier and warmer.

Thank you!!🙏❤️
(I wasn't able to get one last year, but will look for these items soon. The only thing is that when I have checked, they usually have a label on it that says the material "may cause cancer"... Won't buy those. Can you recommend a brand that is good?)

Good brands: REI, Northface, Mountain Hardware.
We try as hard as we want to stay away from carcinogens and we should. But we all drive. Auto fuel and natural gas used in our homes has small amounts of Benzene, and Benzene is a known carcinogen … so what are we gonna do?
change your diet. if you keep an alkaline body, you cannot get cancer. if you keep an alkaline body, none of these chemicals are dangerous

True, cancer cannot thrive in an alkaline environment. The worst things to consume are :
Soda
Bottled water
Sugar
Also most people are chronically dehydrated and drinking filtered alkaline water in sufficient quantities is a good way to make the body alkaline. By no longer drinking soda and bottled water alone will certainly help, then reduce sugar consumption as well and health will improve. Replace acidic foods with alkaline foods. 😇

I drink pH 9.5 bottled water. Why is that not ok?
