I didn't know it needed further explanation but maybe the saying 'where you spend your money is your vote,' just isn't clear enough for some people to understand. I think some of us over estimate people a lot. Not to be mean at all. We just need to slow way down sometimes to meet others where they're at. That's why the dialog works so well.
