Bible as a whole was not officially compiled until the late fourth century, illustrating that it was the Catholic Church who determined the canon—or list of books—of the Bible under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Although the New Testament canon was not determined until the late 300s, books the Church deemed sacred were early on proclaimed at Mass, and read and preached about otherwise.
The process culminated in 382 as the Council of Rome, which was convened under the leadership of Pope Damasus, promulgated the 73-book scriptural canon. The biblical canon was reaffirmed by the regional councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397), and then definitively reaffirmed by the ecumenical Council of Florence in 1442.
WRONG - the Jesuit order was not founded until 1534 - the Cannons of the Bible were assembled from 350-396 - 1200 years BEFORE the Jesuits!

God’s name is NOT Jehovah
Jehovah was created by a misunderstanding.
First, Jehovah is the weirdest kind of portmanteau: it’s 1) the vowels of one Hebrew word (Adonai) inserted into 2) the consonants of another (Yahweh), with the result then 3) transliterated into various European languages. This is the colossal error I mentioned. We’re not quite sure who did it—though a sixteenth-century friar named Galatinus is often blamed—but we’re pretty sure we know why. The Jewish custom of avoiding saying the divine name meant that the four consonants of Yahweh (Y-H-W-H) came to be spelled with the vowels of Adonai as a reminder to say the latter instead of the former. Apparently someone (Galatinus?) didn’t realize what was going on and thought the traditional pastiche was itself a word: Jehovah. This custom spread and the word still exists today. But it all stems from a misunderstanding.

That is very true. I have been told I “commandeer a room”, am “bigger than life”, “ I am not normal”, … and it all came from my mother who instilled strong faith, the Holy Spirit and told me I had the power to achieve anything I wanted. It is Daily Mass & The Holy Spirit that keeps this train on the tracks!
