It’s been a while, after 27 years of being a stay at home mom, I’m now working full time. My husband had a stroke in the summer and with no pay check coming in I’ve been working my Ass off to catch up. I think getting out of the house has been the best thing for me.
I miss not being here everyday and miss everyone. Hoping to be on AU more again soon.❤️🌻

LORD, help me to have character that resembles You. Strengthen my faith in You, LORD. Help me to be content with my age and the stage of life I am in. Help me to do what I can do instead of focusing on what I can't do. Confirm and shape me into who you want me to be. Above all, I want to please You. I want to do Your will and live for You. Give me wisdom and insight to do so, and lead me by Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

The problem with my feet is spreading up my legs. Felt it in my glutes this morning. Having difficulty walking when bad, which concerns me as much as anything. (Being mobile no doubt benefits my sanity.) It’s burning needles when mild & burning knives when worse. Beginning to think it’s originating from my spine, as I’ve had for a long time pinching nerves, one in my neck & one below my shoulder blades.
Open to suggestions if anyone unfortunately is familiar with this. I really need to try to get back in with a group of Doctors within a system instead of the PA locally in my rural area I’ve had for years now.
On the bright side, the bismuth subsalicylate treatment has improved the IBD tremendously. I can tell there is lots less inflammation. It’s a shame Drs don’t give such information out when first diagnosed instead of as a last recourse to extremely expensive or more dangerous treatments. Praying for new healthcare/ medbed. 🙏
