Yes. I remember it was exactly like that. Canada was part of America. In 1988 (that's how I remember it) it just changed in July. On July 2, CST, it was still 13th Amendment at 8 a.m., but after 9 a.m. it was different. Even the sky changed then and the oxygen in the air was reduced.
Anyone who knows me knows what I'm writing about. As a memory, I "took away" the scar on my neck from this knowledge. When I came to school after the holidays, everyone laughed at me when I said this about the 13th amendment in school.
Now I'm thinking... why is DS symbolically marked with the number 13? This amendment 13 is key to the entire existence of humanity. I know it.
In 1988, the timeline was disrupted. And if I take into account my memories, I think that this "derailment" was caused by manipulation with CERN and that opened the gate for [them] here.
