Not being really able to tell if you are watching a clone, drone, double, masked actor, CGI, historical footage, or the real person is kind of liberating. You just ignore all the "noise" at the individual character level, and only focus on structural matters or issues of principle.

The style of deceit I'm talking about with flat earth theories is what I would personally call "backwards logic" or "engineered logic".

What I mean by this, is that it appears that they have started with the answer that they want i.e. "the earth is flat" and worked backwards to create inductions, inferences and deductions from there.

Philosophy and logic are the wrong sciences for proving the earth is flat but they can be very convincing (while proving nothing) if a professional propagandist has the will to convince you.

The logic of flat earth theories have the hallmark not of people who believe it, but of people who really want you to believe it. This is the brand/style of deceit I mention.

In my opinion, flat earth is the cheese in the trap for the awakened little mouse, because the second you fall for the flat earth deceit, you will never wake another soul as long as you live.
